Abstract

We discuss the case of a 37-year-old man with hyperuricemia, bilateral nephrolithiasis, and mineral metabolic disorder characterized by hypocalcemia, hypophosphatemia, and hypocalciuria without phosphaturia. The diseased had developed over 10 years without an accurate diagnosis, and had responded poorly to medical management. After clinical analyses and laboratory workup, vitamin D dependency type I was diagnosed
