Epistemological implications and bioethical considerations
Abstract
The development of the genetic diagnostics tests of early onset monogenetic as well as last onset diseases, and predisposition test are developing in epistemological transformation in today's medicine. It is started with the classic models of clinical diagnosis based on pathologic anatomy, physiology, physiopathogenesis, towards a new diagnostic paradigm called the genomic model. We analyze the bioethical and social dilemmas in the different predictive genetic diagnosis tests.
