Clases, subclases y marcadores genéticos en las inmunoglobulinas del mieloma múltiple en Colombia

Abstract

The immunological study of 90 proteins of MM and MW is done classifying them into classes, subclasses, types, and genetic markers. A proportion of 2.2% of MM IgD; 2.2% of MW; 24% of MM of the IgA class and 71% of the IgG class is observed. Analysing the subclasses of the latter, we note the following proportion IgG1 77%, IgG2 12%, IgG3 6% and IgG4 3%. The low levels of these subclasses are related with the more frequent "Gm" genetic market postulated for colombian populations, which is Gm (4a), Gm (n-), Gm (g) y Gm(z,a)
