Present status of the converting enzyme inhibitors (Ace Inhibitors) as anti-hypertensive medications
Abstract
The last years have witnessed an unprecedented proliferation of scientific evidence regarding efficacy and effectiveness of antihypertensive drugs. However, medical literature with a global and clinical approach that summarizes the effectiveness of a family of antihypertensive drug treatment and that draws clinically useful conclusions is scarce. In this paper we present a concise and objective documentation on the effectiveness and clinical usefulness of Angiotensin Converting Enzyme Inhibitors (ACEs) in the treatment of hypertension, both in patients with and without compelling conditions
