Abstract

82-year-old female, with passive smoking and exposure to biomass; with a 2-year history of non-painful mass in the left parietal region of the skull, with progressive growth, weight loss of 10 kg in 3 months and dry cough. She was admitted to the emergency room due to loss of strength in the lower right limb. Chest CT showed a mass in the upper lobe of the right lung. Transbronchial biopsy revealed an unspecified adenocarcinoma. In MRI of the brain, a large expansive lesion was observed with involvement of the left parietal region at the extra-axial level, affecting the internal table. Lung adenocarcinoma with involvement of the mediastinum and skull metastasis was considered.
